our roots

Park Row Kitchen started in 2010, a year after I bought The Brunswick Inn. I had started making granola for the Inn’s guests, and so many of them requested the recipe or “a little bag to go” that I started selling bags by the pound. Somehow the locals got word of it and started stopping in to buy it.

Ten years later, PRK granola devotees still swear it’s the best granola they’ve ever had. I have shipped it all over the country, and it has traveled with guests all over the world. But it was never the business I had hoped for. I wanted it on store shelves all over New England and beyond; I wanted a bigger mail order clientele; and I wanted to add so many products that I had created and served at the Inn but never had time to develop. I wanted to go big, but I had 16 hotel rooms that always took my time and attention away from what needed to happen in order to grow. Enter Covid-19. Everything shut down and I got to work.

Now Park Row Kitchen brings the flavors of The Brunswick Inn to your door. As more people look to locally sourced foods, small batch production, and delivery services, the timing is right. And as people long wistfully for a place they’re unable to visit, I hope to bring the sights, smells, and tastes of the Inn to their homes.
